<p>The Director, Consumer Marketing is responsible for leading new customer acquisition, retention and brand positioning for the TripIt and TripIt Pro services.  The ideal candidate will have hands on experience leading customer acquisition efforts across a variety of channels, including traditional advertising, SEO, SEM, email programs, traditional and social media relations and a rich understanding of web and consumer marketing analytics.  Additional responsibilities include helping the Company understand who our customers are and improving their engagement.  Finally, as a steward of the TripIt brand, you should have a strong sense for why great brands stand out and previous experience working with one.</p>
<p>You will need to be hands-on as well as strategic, creative and analytical, able to build process and move quickly.  We&#8217;re looking for someone who is excited about solving marketing challenges, wants to build something great and willing to do whatever it takes to make TripIt successful.</p>
<p>This is a terrific opportunity to be part of a small, fast-moving team.  Our team is experienced and has high expectations for all members.  You&#8217;ll need to wear many hats, so flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential.  We&#8217;re looking for superstars who can grow with our business and add to our culture.</p>
<p>Several years consumer internet experience and a passion for travel is required.</p>
<p><b><u>Responsibilities</u></b></p>
<ul>
    <li>Build out a cost-effective SEM program</li>
    <li>Test cost effectiveness of traditional advertising channels</li>
    <li>Lead media outreach to both traditional and social media, including PR</li>
    <li>Improve our email marketing, engagement and retention programs</li>
    <li>Develop SEO strategy and implementation</li>
    <li>Improve customer segmentation models to identify and target high value customer opportunities</li>
    <li>Brand positioning for consumer products</li>
    <li>Identify and measure key performance metrics for user behavior and marketing efficiency (user growth, online behavior, conversion, CPA, engagement, churn, lifetime value, revenue forecasting)</li>
</ul>
<p><b><u>Required Skills / Experience</u></b></p>
<ul>
    <li>At least 6 years prior business experience, preferably with an online consumer business</li>
    <li>Solid understanding and experience with viral acquisition programs</li>
    <li>Strong creative skills and willingness to take risks</li>
    <li>Hands-on experience building and managing SEM programs</li>
    <li>Previous experience with traditional advertising</li>

<p>The Business Analyst, Customer Insight is responsible for customer segmentation, insight and analysis, tracking key business metrics for customer behavior, performance, product pricing and value.  The ideal candidate will be someone who can effectively use SQL to pull data, think critically and creatively about what it means and communicate effectively with actionable recommendations.  We&#8217;re looking for someone who is excited about solving consumer problems and wants to build something great.</p>
<p>This is a terrific opportunity to be part of a small team.  As a result, you&#8217;ll need to wear many hats, so flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential.  In addition to being extremely analytical, you must be a creative thinker, a doer and easy to work with.</p>
<p>Experience in typical performance metrics of online consumer business is strongly preferred.  Oh, and it helps if you are passionate about travel.</p>
<p>This position reports to the VP Product.</p>
<p><u><b>Responsibilities</b></u></p>
<p>&#8226;&#9;Identify and measure key performance metrics and trigger points for consumer behavior (user growth, dropoff points, conversion, revenue, engagement, churn, etc.)<br />

<p>The Visual Design Lead will help design the entire user experience &#8212; from web pages, to emails, to mobile screens, to printed itineraries. You will be responsible for providing visual design leadership for all components of the TripIt service.</p>

    <li>Leading visual design throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design deliverables such as screen layouts, user interface elements, and prototypes</li>

<p>The Product Manager is responsible for identifying, defining and launching new products and features for an innovative consumer travel application. We&#8217;re looking for someone who is driven by solving consumer problems and designing exceptional consumer experiences.&#160;</p>
<p>As part of a small team, you&#8217;ll need to wear many hats, so flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential.&#160; You should be a creative thinker who can combine imagination, past experience, and traditional analytics to support your ideas.&#160; And then know how to put those ideas into action by driving the product development process.</p>
<p>Finally, you should be able to measure and interpret the business results of your work.&#160; Experience in typical performance metrics of online consumer business is strongly preferred.&#160; Oh, and it helps if you are interested in travel.</p>

<p><u><b>Responsibilities</b></u></p>
<ul>
    <li>Manage product priorities
    <ul>
        <li>Maintain product roadmap and priorities list</li>
        <li>Collect and aggregate user feedback</li>
        <li>Work with engineering to schedule product release dates</li>
    </ul>
    </li>
    <li>Drive product development
    <ul>
        <li>Identify product features and functionality related to business objectives</li>
        <li>Develop functional requirement documentation</li>
        <li>Work with UI design to develop wireframes and visual comps</li>
        <li>Coordinate development teams to keep project moving toward completion</li>
        <li>Resolve issues jeopardizing project timeline</li>
    </ul>

    <li>Perform product and business analysis
    <ul>
        <li>Identify and measure key performance metrics (user growth, conversion, revenue, repeat rate, churn, etc.)</li>
        <li>Perform ad hoc issue analysis</li>
        <li>Develop, run, and present routine business reports<br />

<p><u><b>Required Skills / Experience</b></u></p>
<ul>
    <li>At least 3 years prior product management experience, preferably with an online consumer business</li>
    <li>Demonstrated ability to drive the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch and post-launch evaluation and improvement</li>
    <li>Experience observing and evaluating consumer experience, including usability labs</li>
    <li>Skilled in collecting and responding to input from multiple sources (users, testers, engineering, competitive products, management, etc.)</li>
    <li>Proficiency in Excel modeling</li>
    <li>Familiarity with metrics for online consumer businesses (user acquisition, clickstream analysis, marketing spend, consumer lifecycle, etc.)</li>
    <li>Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of colleagues, from graphic designers to software engineers</li>
    <li>Must be highly organized, even in a rapidly evolving environment</li>
</ul>
<p>Although not required, the ability to write SQL queries and build reports is a strong plus.</p>

    <li>Develop and maintain complex models with data extracted from various database tables, as well as manually-entered data</li>
    <li>Provide snapshot pictures of current trends and the state of the business</li>
    <li>Update, enhance, and create reports and analyses</li>
    <li>Perform ad hoc business analysis</li>
    <li>Present analysis to Executive Team</li>
</ul>
<p><u><b>Required Skills / Experience </b></u></p>
<ul>
    <li>At least 3 years prior business experience, preferably with an online consumer business</li>
    <li>Familiarity with metrics for online consumer businesses (user acquisition, clickstream analysis, marketing efficiency, consumer lifecycle, etc.)</li>
    <li>Previous experience with web analytics packages a plus (Omniture, Google Analytics, etc.)</li>
